Dave Matthews Returns to The Gorge

At The Gorge, outside George, Washington, I've seen Dave Matthews Band for the second time. DMB returns to The Gorge every Labor Day for multiple showings. Dave and the band have so much great material they can play long shows (they played for well over two hours) and still leave you wanting (and missing) more. Don't expect to hear all Dave's greatest hits in one night because of the multiple showings. Skip DMB's live shows if you're not a fan of instrumental jamming, and rent some live show DVDs so you can fast forward at will. Dave always lets the band have their moments in the spotlight, which might leave fans set on hearing concise versions of their best known works a bit frustrated. Sexy, funny, humble, a bit dorky, but always great, Dave is one of my all-time favorites.
